Plaintive wails erupted from The Swamp as Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted 13 Russians for cyber-bullying and conceded that the 2016 presidential election outcome was not affected by their meddling attempts. As this one branch of the Trump bashing triad for Midterm message success came crashing down—the other two being tax reform and job creation—deep pocket donors began scrambling to convince Democrat politicians to rebrand their mission statement.
And we know this party is not good at delivering messages that encourage people to vote. What they are masters of, though, is planting fear and hate within the hearts and minds of their base.
Everyone is Going to Die!
From the repeal efforts of the Affordable Healthcare Act, Paris Climate Accord, reigniting the Keystone Pipeline, and boosting the coal mining industry, the Democrats would have one believing Armageddon was imminent—as in this year. But their message is backfiring, and the clock is ticking ever so loudly.
Last December, Trump passed his tax reform act and sent the media scuttling about and squawking distorted facts and figures. Imagine that. Their message was clear; this legislation was only going to help the wealthy and big corporations. Until regular Jills and Joes began seeing bonuses for the first time in decades (Pelosi calls them crumbs) and more money in their paychecks each week, debunking the lie.
And the fallout is telling, as briefed by Fox News:
“The most recent RealClearPolitics average of “generic” ballot polls — asking voters which party they prefer in congressional races — shows Democrats with a roughly 7-percentage-point lead over Republicans, compared with 13 points the day after Congress approved the tax law.
And a new Morning Consult/Politico poll showed Republicans leading by 1 percentage point, after trailing for three months.”

It’s the Same Old Song
The major Democratic super PAC that backed both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Priorities USA, is running scared. They have issued a memo to anyone who is paying attention, to remind the politicians about issues that win support and energize the voting base, lest they forget. In other words; stick with scaring the bejeezus out of people on health care.
There were two omissions from the memo: DACA and immigration, and job creation (which is performing at greater than expected levels). So expect to see a slow down on those narratives unless California candidates are involved, and then anything goes. And you can be assured that major cable and network “news” outlets are following the memo carefully and testing the waters of the message.
The three-pronged attack on Trump is faltering at an epic pace, forcing the money holders out of their comfortable and quiet domains and into the foray of a chaotic political season to steer the minions back on course. Whatever Trump and the Republicans are plotting behind Oval Office doors seems to be taking root and growing with Americans; tweeting and brash comments aside, daily polls have shown steady to incremental increases in the president’s approval ratings – despite the unrelenting barrage of negative press and continual bashing by the liberals. And that sends cold fear skipping down the backs of George Soros and his ilk.
