It was inevitable, really, that the extremist political left would at some point let slip its veil and reveal its true, horrific nature. That point is now upon us with the conclusion of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha, WI. Progressive journalists, activists, celebrities, and politicians engaged in a wholly unhinged meltdown when Rittenhouse was acquitted on all counts. But their hatred, slanderous comments, and outright lies about the 18-year-old who shot and killed two attackers and wounded a third during a night of rioting in 2020, shouldn’t be just brushed aside with a sigh of exasperation, a laugh, or an angry comment. They should serve as a very solemn warning to Americans about what would become of this country if such people cemented their grip on total political control – which is indeed what they want.
Easily Debunked Lies
Sure, it is easy enough to correct their lies, since the facts in the Rittenhouse case are documented and well-known to those who followed the events of the trial from an objective and rational viewpoint.
To deal briefly with the many untruths still being deliberately spread by those who have nothing but contempt for the concept of due process: Rittenhouse did not cross a state line with an AR-15 and if he had, he would have broken no law. He was not illegally in possession of the said rifle, he was not a “self-declared white nationalist,” as race-hustling attorney Ben Crump claimed on Twitter, and he did not take away “two beautiful black lives,” as one particularly dull-witted James Madison University student activist claimed, according to Townhall. Though the left-wing media did their best to conceal this fact from the public, all three of the rioters, against whom Rittenhouse had no choice but to defend himself, were white.
Jury Intimidation?
The sinister part of all this is that people in positions of influence – and in some cases, positions of power – who fabricated lies about Rittenhouse, along with all of those people who repeated the lies, were in fact attempting to impact the outcome of the young man’s trial. That is not mere speculation. They stated these false facts over and over again on national television. They wrote them in online and newspaper articles and posted them on social media. It could not have escaped their thoughts that, in doing so, they were not only influencing public opinion but potentially influencing the un-sequestered members of the jury.
Once the verdicts were handed down, these same people continued to spew their hatred of Rittenhouse and their contempt for the trial judge, the jury, and the criminal justice system itself. They include senior Democratic Party officials and national television news hosts, none of whom deserve to be mentioned by name in this article, though everybody knows who they are.
Demanding an Approved Political Verdict

At least one Democrat – and he shall here be singled out by name – Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York, said the Rittenhouse case “justifies Federal review by DOJ.” Let that sink in. Because the jury’s decision was not to his liking, Nadler wants the Department of Justice to step in, effectively proclaim Rittenhouse’s acquittal null and void, and convict the young man itself.
Nadler is by no means the only person on the left who thinks this way. It is profoundly disturbing that elected Democratic Party officials, prominent media personalities, actors, athletes, and progressive activists want Rittenhouse to spend the rest of his life in jail for no other reason than that they consider him to be standing on the wrong side of the political divide.
This has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Rittenhouse shot and killed two people. It has everything to do with the fact that the two deceased individuals were actively participating in a riot incited by the political left. It has everything to do with the fact that Rittenhouse exercised his Second Amendment right to bear arms, along with his natural right of self-defense.
If political ideology was not a factor here and if Nadler and Co. were concerned only with the loss of life, they would have been equally outraged when an unarmed young woman was shot at point-blank range and killed in the Capitol building itself in Washington, D.C. on January 6. After all, Ashli Babbitt was simply doing what the left claims the three men whom Rittenhouse shot were doing, which is exercising her First Amendment rights. She was not behaving violently and, unlike the three men Rittenhouse shot, she was not posing an imminent physical danger to anybody. But of course, Babbitt was a Trump supporter and for that reason alone, apparently, her murder was justified.
So, this is what the extremists on the left have revealed about themselves. Regardless of the facts, regardless of constitutional rights – or basic human rights, for that matter – and regardless of whether laws were broken or not, they demand a guilty verdict for anyone they see as a political opponent – and they appear ready to go to any lengths to attain that goal. If they’re willing to do this to Kyle Rittenhouse, a young man who had not even publicly expressed any political views before or during his time in Kenosha, what would they be willing to do to all those Americans who openly express beliefs with which the left does not agree?
