Migrants in America: Uneducated, Exploited, and Abused on the Job

The grand saga of illegal migration is looking very unhumanitarian.

This really isn’t about helping these people, is it? Chicago’s public schools have provided the latest evidence that the migrants pouring into America and creating a staggering burden on local communities are not seeing their lives being improved in the process. The mass movement of people from impoverished nations to overwhelmed US cities and towns isn’t leading to the positive outcomes touted by big-box media and other ruling progressive establishment platforms.

WGN Radio in the Windy City reported Sept. 18 that the children of migrants placed in schools in predominantly black inner-city neighborhoods without speaking a word of English and “taught” by teachers who do not speak a word of Spanish are nevertheless being given passing grades.

“We’ve had multiple Chicago Public School teachers come forward to us at WGN News and exclusively tell us that they were instructed to give these students passing grades in their classes, regardless of academic performance,” reporter Sylvia Snowden stated.

’70 Percent in Every Subject’

A colossal fraud is being perpetrated upon an American community by its local government educational system.

“The teachers we spoke with work in CPS elementary schools and say they spoke no Spanish, while their migrant students spoke no English, making communication virtually impossible,” the station related. “Despite this, they say they were instructed by school administrators to give their migrant students a 70 percent in every subject and pass them on to the next grade.”

This is how President Joe Biden’s “newcomers” are being assimilated into America.

This institutionalized ghettoization of migrants only furthers the ongoing Balkanization of the United States and the corrosion of civic harmony while causing profound individual suffering to those being brought into the country in such a haphazard and wholly insupportable fashion.

Smuggled In and Turned Out

Question: Does becoming a prostitute improve one’s quality of life?

New Banner Illegal Immigration“The vicious Venezuelan migrant gang Tren de Aragua is luring desperate women deep into the heart of the US [and] forcing them to sell their bodies on the streets of American cities to pay off exorbitant smuggling fees, a newly leaked law enforcement document obtained by The New York Post reveals,” the paper reported Sept. 23.

“At least eight states have seen an explosion in migrant prostitution since the gang laid down roots in the US, with authorities in Texas, Nevada, Illinois, California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and New York now fighting to curtail the sex trade, the memo shows,” the paper detailed.

Illegal Migrants Working in US: ‘Worse Than Being in Jail’

Question: Does becoming a modern-day slave improve one’s quality of life?

The Wall Street Journal on Sept. 23 published a lengthy feature article on the abuse of Haitians authorized to work in America who are employed by the meatpacking industry.

Sleeping on floors in houses filled with up to 30 co-workers or motel rooms with as many as eight occupants and cooking meals on hot plates, the Haitians trudge off to long shifts at a JBS Foods plant in Greeley, CO, to perform jobs so dangerous that death and permanent maiming are routine hazards.

“Some workers said they couldn’t bear to tell loved ones in Haiti about the conditions, and that the US wasn’t supposed to be like this,” The Journal wrote. “‘It was worse than being in jail,’ said one.”

United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 7 in Denver shed more light on how foreigners are specifically targeted by large employers.

“In late 2023, UFCW Local 7 noticed an influx of French-speaking African immigrants [at JBS]. By the very end of 2023 and throughout 2024, new hires are now largely Haitian refugees,” the union wrote in a Sept. 24 statement. “Turnover remains high, but the union believes there are hundreds of Haitian workers at the plant, and it is not uncommon for many to leave within a month of hiring because of the dangerous working conditions due to high line speeds within the facility, threats, and intimidation.”

The floodtide of migrants into the American heartland does not appear to be a grand humanitarian gesture. It is made out to be on CNN and PBS or in the pages of the dominant press. It seems to be primarily a story of exploitation, reflecting the willingness of human beings to harness the pain, misery, and back-breaking labors of their fellow man for their own personal greed.
