In a wealthy enclave in 21st-century America, life was shattered by the arrival of fifty illegal aliens. It was a humanitarian crisis, apparently, and those limousine liberals of the said enclave found they did not have the resources to cope with this relatively minor disruption of their insular lives. The lesson to be learned from the invasion of Martha’s Vineyard – orchestrated by Ron the Impaler, ruthless emperor of Florida – is that Democrats are hopelessly unprepared for any situation and will never survive the Mad Max world they have been predicting for decades, sure to come about when the climate apocalypse finally catches up to us.
Blaze Media reports that the richie riches of the island set up a GoFundMe account described as an “Urgent plea to help Martha’s Vineyard migrants.” But did any of those fifty Venezuelans see a cent of the more than $42,000 raised? No, they did not. That money is going into the Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation, which has assets of more than $14 million. On a side note, the foundation is currently seeking additional money from a Migrant Relief Fund because those champagne socialists in their million- or multi-million-dollar mansions are “concerned about the well being of the migrants … on our Island.”
On our island? The now infamous Florida Fifty have already been shipped off to a military base far enough away for the Vineyardians not to have to hear their cries of anguish or smell their horrible foreign food.
How Will Martha’s Vineyard Survive?
One would have assumed, then, that the wealthy elite of the Vineyard would have ample resources and supplies to deal with the coming climate crisis. If not, then what else is the $14 million for? A huge number of canapés for the mother of all garden parties?
An island off the coast of Massachusetts – most famous for the Teddy Kennedy School of Driving, located just a short swim away on Chappaquiddick, or not – Martha’s Vineyard boasts an altitude of just 72 feet above sea level. And it wasn’t always an island, so we already know Mother Nature has got it in for this piece of prime real estate. What happens when the oceans rise, as a lot of residents – perhaps most of them – believe is inevitable?
And, anyway, who in their right mind lives on a piece of rock 72 feet above the surface of the Atlantic Ocean if one believes man’s irresponsible behavior will precipitate the submerging of most of the world’s current coastlines? Perhaps the residents of Martha’s Vineyard think they will simply be able to sail away in their yachts.

Preparedness, then, appears to be something America’s wealthy leftists are neglecting. Why would that be? Is it possible they don’t really believe their own Chicken Little rhetoric? Maybe, they truly think the rest of us can be bullied into a life of eating bugs in the dark, which will avert disaster.
So, when the ivy league denizens of Martha’s Vineyard claimed they did not have the “resources” to deal with four dozen “migrants,” what they were really admitting is that they were not resourceful enough to cope with that situation. As civilization crumbles when the global warming/climate change thingy finally goes beyond the point of no return (hasn’t it already?), the posh, old money, not-in-my-backyard, prep-school poseurs of that little island will be among the first to succumb to the savage new reality.
And what of the fifty Venezuelans? Have you seen Venezuela lately? Don’t worry about them. Those Central and South Americans are a hardy bunch. Cubans are sailing to America on doors. Those folks will do just fine – and when the wretched survivors of a submerged Martha’s Vineyard show up at their doors, perhaps they’ll say, sorry, but we just don’t have the resources to help you.
