Diamond and Silk Take Biden to Task Over Race

Diamond and Silk have a new name for Joe Biden – and it just might be the cure for the Democrats’ indifference disease.

The girls might have been booted off Fox News for disavowing the COVID-19 pandemic as a deep state “plandemic,” but they sure haven’t missed a beat in railing against the Democratic frontrunner former Vice President Joe Biden and the left in general. Riding the waves Joe made by telling black folks, “you ain’t black” if they voted for the current president of the United States, Diamond and Silk pounced like panthers.

They tweeted: “Jim Crow Joe wants to take us back to the days of slavery!” The tweet went wild, engaging black Americans with hashtags #JimCrowJoe and #YouAin’tBlackJoe. Folks of all colors, it seems, agreed with the girls.

Even Representative James Clyburn (D-SC) admitted he “cringed” when he heard the remark. The Biden camp went a bit on the defensive and began dialing for deliverance conferencing with the good people at the U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce. Biden’s remark was framed as being made with a “cavalier” attitude, but Symone Sanders, Biden’s campaign advisor, said the comment was made in “jest.” Then she promptly challenged: “Let’s be clear about what the VP was saying: He was making the distinction that he would put his record with the African American community up against Trump’s any day. Period.”

Sanders and Biden may want to rethink that double-dog-dare throwdown. His record includes that 1994 crime bill that led to mass incarcerations of blacks and the passing of an anti-busing legislation in the 1970s that would have desegregated schools. Oh, and can we forget the “fond” and “great” relationship with six of his congressional cronies who were avid segregationists? That list included Senator James O. Eastland. Joe, with a mist about his eyes, proclaimed that Eastland “never called me ‘boy,’ he always called me son.”

What are the Democrats thinking with this guy?

But He’s A Democrat – He Supports Black People, Right?

Liberty Nation’s Editor-in-Chief, Leesa K. Donner, offers a succinct and somewhat scathing review of Biden’s past problems with his segregationist-inspired past:

“It seemed like only yesterday when Biden warned blacks that voting Republican would ‘put ya’ll back in chains.’ Before that, he described Barack Obama as clean and articulate, implying that this was unusual for a black man. To quote him precisely: ‘I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.’ Biden marveled. ‘I mean, that’s a storybook, man.’”

Heck, what was Obama thinking when he picked a number two with that kind of baggage. Somehow, his comments, like “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” have inspired a colossal shoulder shrug with the black voters.

The Whiff of Dissent

Yes, there is a definite whiff of dissent in the air as Mr. Biden reports from his basement blanket fort, hoping to shame black voters into voting for the plantation master.

Jeff Charles, Liberty Nation’s Race Relations correspondent, recently wrote about how the times are changing as the 2020 rollercoaster reaches its crest. He posted polling numbers of black voters that could be a game changer:

“… 70% said they would vote for the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee in November. But more than a third wished for ‘someone else’ to enter the race. About 12% of participants said they would vote for Trump.”

Proponents like Diamond and Silk and their 1.4 million followers may be a part of the cure for the indifferent shrug: a small but seismic shift in favor of the incumbent – 12% – and Joe Biden will be toast. Burnt Jim Crow Joe toast.
