The news that Anthony Fauci – the Robert Mueller of the infectious diseases branch of government – is playing fast and loose with the numbers and the truth of herd immunity is just business as usual for the King of Ineptitude.
The latest Fauci-ism should come as no surprise. We already know that the “good” doctor is a nefarious amalgam of doddering and deceitful, based on his serial reversals about COVID mortality, masks, lockdowns, social distancing, and the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine against the SARS coronavirus.
An anchor on one of the ninny networks even called out Fauci for moving the goalposts (yet again) and not being “straight” with the American people. Fauci initially said herd immunity would require between 70% and 75% of Americans getting vaccinated, then changed it to between 70% and 85%, before notching it up to 90% – then finally settling back down to… oh, who cares.
Fauci’s Fuzzy Math
Fauci rationalized adjusting his numbers from 75% to 85% as “not a big leap.” But when you consider the United States population of close to 330 million, it amounts to around 33 million people who will have to be manipulated or compelled to take the vaccine to achieve Fauci’s mutating, highly un-scientific definition of herd immunity. Just a “guesstimate,” as Bad Grandpa termed it.
Fauci admitted he “revised” his numbers when he saw new polling that Americans were feeling more amenable to taking the experimental COVID-19 vaccine – as if polling has anything whatsoever to do with science, the scientific method, or scientific outcomes. For his part, Marco Rubio (R-FL) at least showed some mettle when he called Fauci out for “lying to the American people in order to manipulate their behavior.” Good for him – but he’s a lone voice.
This is the second time Fauci lied to the American people. The first was when he said on March 8 that “there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask” and later became a fervent advocate for mask-wearing. He admitted later in the same interview that the only reason he’d gaslit the country with a bald-faced falsehood was that he was trying to protect the supply chain of masks for the frontline workers.
Let the record show: Anthony Fauci will lie on TV for any reason he deems worthwhile. Tricking the American people into taking an experimental vaccine with no long-term safety trials appears worthwhile. No matter that there is no proof that the vaccine will halt or impede the transmission of coronavirus. Maybe Fauci should form a secret society with James Clapper – another notable TV liar who also continues to fail upward. It sure makes one pine for the measured, common sense of Dr. Scott Atlas – but gone are the days.
WHO Redefines Herd Immunity
Regarding herd immunity, the corrupted international collective for whom Fauci has run interference all year – namely the World Health Organization (WHO) – also engaged in more of its signature smoke and mirrors to promote universal uptake of the experimental COVID-19 vaccines.
The WHO literally changed the definition of herd immunity on its website between June and November of 2020. That definition previously included the phrase “immunity developed through previous infection.” Now, that phrase has removed, leaving only “vaccination” as a possible means of achieving herd immunity.
But why? The WHO knows – as does every licensed and practicing scientist and physician on earth – that natural immunity gained by contracting and surviving a disease is the most potent immunity of all: it lasts for your entire life. The best-case scenario for vaccines is to confer immunity for several years. And since immunity gained from a needle never protects you for life, booster shots have to be given for many diseases – which is why the CDC is strenuously pushing the relatively novel idea of adult vaccination. Novel, at least until COVID-19 was imported from China.
So other than finally being able to anoint Bill Gates Emperor of Earth, what possible motivation could the WHO have for surgically removing an absolute scientific truth about lifelong natural immunity in favor of the temporary immunity gained from a vaccine?
A possible windfall of 750 billion dollars for vaccinating everyone on earth to be banked by the many powerful interests in league with the World Health Organization could be powerfully motivating – as well as being able to establish national and international databases on the health and immunization records of all global citizens. Establishing absolute hegemony over the free world by promulgating perpetual fear of infectious diseases is another possibility, as is the Great Reset, about which many have warned, in which the world economy is reconfigured to serve the needs of the billionaire class and the globalists.
The attribution is contested, but the maxim itself is evergreen, applicable here, and should be accompanied by the darkly dramatic theme of Beethoven’s 5th symphony. Never let a crisis go to waste.
The international billionaire class, which has increased its wealth by 30% during a pandemic that devastated the rest of the world economically, is making hay while the sun shines – or profit while the pandemic rages. They know an opportunity when they see it and how the calculus works: fear equals power plus control – plus unimaginable wealth.
And the rest of us have been only too happy to comply. The restive energy and spirit that sparked months of protests in the streets of America this summer over the tragic death of one man has spent itself. There appears nothing left over to resist science-free lockdowns. Mask mandates, an end to education as we’ve known it, and the cynical reboot of everything is being based upon the specter of a plague. According to Anthony Fauci in The New England Journal of Medicine, this “plague” has a mortality rate not far off a severe seasonal flu back in May.
Or, to paraphrase the man who dramatized human foibles and power lust for a living: much ado about a virus with a 99.74% recovery rate.
The CDC website tells us that somewhere between 2.3% and 2.7% of COVID-19 vaccine recipients have experienced adverse events, ranging from chills, fainting, fever, and body aches, to transverse myelitis, anaphylaxis, bells’ palsy, and death.
That and the news that Spain is the first country in Europe to register citizens who refuse a COVID vaccine are proof positive that this is not your parent’s planet earth – but a grave new world we are embarking on in 2021.
