Still stinging from Mrs. Clinton’s dramatic loss in 2016, some forward-thinking Democrats have requested the former candidate – and subsequent sorest loser ever – return money she made by renting campaign lists and other resources to the Democratic National Committee.
A pipe dream, no doubt, seeing as the DNC is in the red thanks to Hillary’s ill-fated presidential campaign, which hijacked their finances and diverted almost every penny into Clinton coffers. Liberty Nation’s own Leesa K. Donner connected the dots regarding Clinton’s laundering of $84 million – an amount to make Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) investigators lick their collective chops should the Clintons suddenly become less-bullet proof.
The Brave Souls
You may ask just who has the stones to ask the queen of contempt for a refund. It is an interesting list that includes DNC officials and state party chairs – mostly women who aren’t afraid to fight for restoring the dignity of the Party and its bottom line. Nebraska Democratic Party chairwoman Jane Kleeb and Wisconsin Democratic Party chairwoman Martha Laning, agreed with Alabama Democratic Party Chairwoman Nancy Worley, who recently stated, “She should return the money for the ‘love of the Democratic Party’ to the DNC for its use.” The problem with that, Martha, is that Hillary loves herself and money considerably more than her party or even country.
Men of the staid, old guard wing of the Democrats were less brazen in their approach to secure a financial win. For instance, the national committeeman from Kansas, Chris Reeves , suggested an in-kind donation to massage hurt feelings, yet chickened out before asking for it officially, while DNC member-at-large, Brian Wahby beatifically agreed it would be a strong stance (and maybe even beamed at Reeves), saying “It would be the Christian thing to do.”
Uh, Wahby, wrong person to attempt shaming via the Christianity card.
The Clinton Shell Game
Onward and Together came about once Hillary left her self-imposed isolation to lick wounds and write a book blaming the world for her defeat. Power and money, once tendered generously, was drying up, and Mrs. Clinton has a lifestyle she is unwilling to forfeit.
Strange as it seems, while inking her tell-all book slamming Hillary’s abuse of the Democratic Party, it was Donna Brazile, interim party chair, who brokered the deal to purchase Hillary’s lists, saying it may help her successor “inherit a party in good shape.”
The current chairman, Tom Perez, is already monkeying with the deal and payment schedule.
Sadly, these transactions are legal, although selfish and underhanded, and not helpful much to the Party that sold their soul, violated America’s trust, and broke Bernie’s heart, only to fail at putting the first woman into the Oval Office as president.
Most officials gift massive intel lists to their Party of choice to further the cause. Former President Obama forked over his list as an in-kind donation in 2015, which undoubtedly helped Hillary raise the $1.2 billion-plus she used to lose the rigged race.
That show of faith and goodwill will not be forthcoming from Clinton. As her spokesperson, Nick Merrill, told Fox News in her defense, “Paying a rental fee for use of an email list is common practice, and in this case, the DNC has raised over $30 million with it, an 1,800 [percent] return on their investment.”
It looks good on paper, but it doesn’t replace the monies swindled from the party – not even close.
It appears Hillary will once again have access to money and power, however ill-gotten, and continue on her merry way pillaging Americans for sport. Perhaps the new group of Democrats led by chairman Tom Perez, will chant “lock her up” at the beginning of their very secret meetings.
