Since Donald Trump won the presidency last year, the streets of have teemed with leftist activists united in their collective outrage. Various protesters have wreaked havoc across the nation. Now, Refuse Fascism’s Andy Zee hopes to amass an army for what may be the final battle in their war against the United States. Millions of people will gather nationwide in a coordinated protest to remove Trump and Pence from the White House beginning November 4 – nearly a year to the day after the election – and they insist they will not relent until the mission is achieved.
Welcome to the Revolution, the voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, recently announced the event:
We will gather in the streets and public squares of cities and towns across this country, at first many thousands declaring that this whole regime is illegitimate and that we will not stop until our single demand is met: This Nightmare Must End: the Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!
Our protest must grow day after day and night after night—thousands becoming hundreds of thousands, and then millions—determined to act to put a stop to the grave danger that the Trump/Pence Regime poses to the world by demanding that this whole regime be removed from power.
Andy Zee, a member of the Advisory Board of Refuse Fascism, presented the speech featuring this call to action at a national meeting of the group’s leaders. These organizers voted to make this an official event and are now disseminating Zee’s message to members across the country.
If it comes together, this mass protest could well be a nationwide catastrophe. As Welcome to the Revolution points out, “The anger is there.” We’ve seen this anger manifest as violence numerous times – sometimes fatally so, as was the case recently in Virginia. If and when millions of members of “anti-fascism” groups gather and practice the fascist methods of protest they have shown in the past year, things will get worse.
Donald Trump is not going to step down from the presidency – he sure isn’t going to voluntarily remove himself and his entire administration – and it’s unlikely that any other government body with the power to do so will either. This demand to replace the whole Trump administration isn’t likely to happen, and other leftist groups will probably capitalize on the opportunity to join in the clarion call for his removal. Considering the violent and destructive protests these groups are known for, it is nigh inconceivable that this plan can be carried out peacefully – especially given Zee’s admonition not to stop until Trump is out.
And so, the final battle approaches and the ironically named anti-fascist groups are massing their troops. Beginning November 4, the most violent and least rational of Americans will do their best to remove the Trump administration from the White House, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen. Andy Zee called them to action, but he did not define exactly what that action would entail. He demands that his people do not give up until they force a regime change, but he doesn’t offer any limits to the methods he considers acceptable.
