Brexit came as a shock to everyone and proved that the British people were far less enthusiastic about central planners in Brussels than anyone could have imagined. However, they are not alone. Across Europe, people are slowly waking up to the danger of the advancing glacier of Soviet-style globalism.

Sweden

No country in Europe has been more ravaged by the suicidal policies of multiculturalism than Sweden. They’ve effectively had an open border policy and given free stuff to anyone who entered. The migrant crisis of 2015 finally woke up dormant Swedes who have not experienced war in 200 years.

Voters are flocking in droves to parties in favor of closing the borders. In the YouGov/Metro May 2018 poll, the most vocal of these EU-skeptic anti-immigration parties, Sverigedemokraterna (Sweden Democrats), achieved a whopping 28.5% of the vote and is now the largest party in Sweden. No other single party comes close. To put this in perspective, the coalition between all the Socialist parties only makes up 31.3%, and the center-right parties total a mere 28.7%.

This puts Sweden in the absurd position where the center-right is pushed to cooperate with the far left to maintain its EU-friendly policies. Expect the voters to punish the traditional parties hard for their disrespect of the people as the situation continues to deteriorate.

Italy

While Italy has a less suicidal policy than Sweden, the Southern European nation has been at the frontline of the waves of Africans crossing the Mediterranean through Libya – and they have been hit hard.

A small group of pan-European patriots called Generation Identity made international headlines in 2017 for acting as a privately organized border patrol. They picked up migrants and brought them back to Libya. While this was condemned by the usual suspects in the globalist media, Italy soon started doing the same.

Peaceful Italy suddenly had to get used to disturbing news stories, like the Somali migrant who tried to rape a woman in labor at a hospital. Voters have responded to the horror stories by electing an anti-EU anti-establishment government.

A Wave of “Far Right” Parties

Chancellor Angela Merkel is still head of the German government but was severely weakened in the 2017 election, when Alternative führ Deutschland (Alternative for Germany) surged. They want to drastically curb immigration and preserve their native culture and ethnic makeup.

Merkel has recently experienced fractures within her own center-right alliance, where there is an outcry for preserving the nation.

Meanwhile, Austria elected yet another outsider, conservative Sebastian Kurz, as Chancellor. In the Czech Republic, the anti-establishment party ANO won with 30% of the vote, and Euroskeptic Prime Minister Viktor Orbán won by a wide margin in Hungary. Catalonia declared independence from Spain, but that was immediately struck down.

Poland is one of the few countries in Europe that hasn’t experienced any terrorist attacks. Incidentally, they have not taken in any immigrants from Islamic countries. 60,000 patriots celebrated this fact during Polish Independence Day. By now you can guess what the globalist media spin on that event was.

When President Donald Trump’s zero-tolerance immigration policy was painted as a throwback to Nazism, the globalist narrative came to its logical conclusion: borders are “far right.” Voters across Europe are turning to these “extremist” parties in throngs because they don’t want to be just another intersection on the globalist highway.
