United States v. Alvarez

Ruling in United States v. Alvarez, on June 28, 2012, the majority opinion declared that “because the Stolen Valor Act, as presently drafted, works disproportionate constitutional harm, it fails intermediate scrutiny, and thus violates the First Amendment.”
