Why Kamala Harris Will Visit Guatemala – But Not Texas

The vice president has her marching orders.

Those looking for Vice President Kamala Harris to visit the chaotic Mexican border appear to have their eyes focused on the wrong place. Harris, the Biden administration-appointed immigration “czar” tasked to deal with the crisis, evidently does not see the problem the same way so many Americans do.

“I expect she will make a trip to the Northern Triangle at some point soon. So that would be where she would travel given her purview,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on May 24 as she revealed Harris still had no plans to tour the border and meet with the U.S. officials and agents who have the hard-pressed job of securing it to protect American citizens.

The Northern Triangle nations of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador are frequently cited as the source for most of the increased surge of aliens at the border since 2014. While the loudest voices calling for border security stress the threat unchecked illegal immigration poses to the United States and its citizenry, the Biden administration and Democrats aligned with it are expressing far more concern for the welfare of these Central American nations instead.

A Larger Agenda Afoot

Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA), chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, appeared on MSNBC on May 23 to defend Harris. In doing so, he laid out the true focus of Democrat concern:

“We’re very confident under Vice President Harris’ strong leadership that she will find a way. She’s already working with local human rights leaders, local organizations that are legitimate in order to ensure that they receive the aid and that there is strategic, transparent, accountable funding to the governments, but mostly going to legitimate non-government organizations who are on the ground with the people. She has already met with CEOs of large corporations to partner with them in order to put pressure for those countries to follow the rule of law and also to create local job opportunities. She’s worked with our secretary of agriculture, who will help rebuild their agricultural industry because of hurricanes due to climate change, which devastated their subsistence agricultural industry.”

In one response to a question ostensibly about the topic of the United States border, Ruiz touted human rights activists, globalist NGOs, multinational corporations and internationalist legal agreements while pushing the worldwide climate change agenda. This is what Kamala Harris represents, and this is why she will be going to Central America in June instead of south Texas right now.

Biden’s Radicals

As Liberty Nation reported in November, the Biden administration had telegraphed its radical globalist goals long before being installed in the White House on Jan. 20. Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Senior Advisor Linda Etim served as team leader for International Development for Biden’s transition team. Etim, an Obama administration alum and ex-CIA and Department of Defense staffer, is an unabashed champion of the need for the countries of the “Global North” – i.e., Western nations – to subsidize the “Global South” – defined as Central and South America, Africa, and Oceania – in the name of social justice.

In an Oct. 6 position paper for the Carnegie Endowment For International Peace, a foreign policy think tank funded by globalist billionaire George Soros, Etim wrote:

“Starving the Global South of attention and resources will not only lead to humanitarian disasters but will also provoke massive security challenges that dramatically impact the Global North too. The Black Lives Matter movement arose out of the specific context of the persistent race-based caste system of the United States. But the movement’s fundamental claim — of the equal dignity and rights of all persons by virtue of their humanity — is one that needs to be driven through our perspectives and approaches to international development as well.”

[bookpromo align=”left”]Today, the mayhem at the southern border provides the pretext for the transfer of wealth from the Global Northern United States to the oppressed, deprived world citizens of the Global Southern nations of Central America. The Biden administration has pledged $4 billion to create “systemic change” in these countries under the guise of tackling “the root causes driving migration.”

In reality, none of this has anything to do with an honest attempt to put an end to the catastrophe occurring on the southern border. Kamala Harris has her marching orders, and Americans will likely see her deployed where she is meant to be quite soon.
