Former CIA Director John Brennan just can’t seem to find a way to sit down and shut up. And for some odd reason, he thinks the country is interested in his brilliant, sage advice. This week he characterized the president as “unstable, inept, inexperienced and unethical.”
Of course, he did this in agreeable company – MSDNC to be exact – and no, that is not a typo. But even on the Democrat News Network, his shots can be heard ‘round the world. As such we are not impressed, Mr. Brennan – not with you, nor your puerile assertions:
“It is no secret to anybody that Donald Trump was very ill-prepared and unexperienced in terms of dealing with matters that a head of state needs to deal with, head of government, and I think this is now coming to roost.”
“Our country needs to have confidence that we’re going to be able to deal with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, who is flexing his muscles once again on the military front, that we can deal with North Korea, that we can deal with these issues. And if we have somebody in the Oval Office who is unstable, inept, inexperienced, and unethical — we really have rough waters ahead.”
Brennan went on to quote Thomas Paine who said, “These are the times that try men’s soul’s” and attack President Trump for Twitter remarks as “petty and banal.”
Yet it was under Mr. Brennan’s watch that the Obama administration was allowed to conduct its surreptitious election interference that is only now beginning to come to light as written about so eloquently by Liberty Nation’s Graham Noble. Mr. Brennan’s tenure at the CIA is filled with “half-truths and direct contradictions.” As a matter of fact, there’s no real need to impeach Mr. Brennan’s term at The Agency – he’s done that quite effectively all by himself. Think we’re being too harsh: here’s a list of his Seven Deadly Sins.
This isn’t Brennan’s first vicious public campaign against President Trump. In December of 2017, he referred to Trump as a “narcissistic, vengeful autocrat.” Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
These comments and others make one wonder just whose side Mr. Brennan is on – and we’re not talking political parties here but rather pro and anti-American. When you repeatedly damage the country in which you serve and continue to call the current Commander-in-Chief vile names, how does this help the nation writ large?
Brennan said on the MSDNC interview with Nicolle Wallace that a lot of “Americans are looking at what’s happening with a sense of – this is surreal.” He’s got that right – but not surreal in the sense that he defines it but rather that this former CIA Director is the true outlier with a bizarre and strange sense of what is good and right for the country.
It is long past time Mr. Brennan for you to sit down and shut up and give us all a break from your irrational, unreasonable and foolish rants.
