Fauxcahontas vs. Alveda King

In case you missed it, Fauxcahontas is on the warpath again.  If you turned on the tube for one nano-second on Wednesday night, you certainly bumped into the face of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) crying loud and often that she had been told to sit down and shut up in Senate Chambers. Reason being: she had violated Senate Rule 19. This Senate canon prohibits members from speaking ill of one another.

The rule reads that a Senator cannot, “directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator.”

Warren claims she was only reading a letter about then Attorney-General nominee Jeff Sessions:

This is about Coretta Scott King’s letter and that’s all this is about,” Senator Warren told reporters. “She wrote a powerful letter about an important moment in history that directly involved Jeff Sessions and is directly relevant to the question of whether Jeff Sessions ought to be the attorney general of the United States — and Mitch McConnell didn’t want me to read that letter.

My goodness, the Democrats seem to have perfected the whine of a two-year-old since November 8th. Warren wailed about her slap on the wrist for the next twenty-four hours. “They can shut me up, but they can’t change the truth,” Warren later told CNN’s Don Lemon. Naturally, the establishment media jumped to her side to beat up the big bad Republicans who censored this poor helpless female. Here are the highlights from the Clinton News Network:

By Tuesday night, the hashtag #LetLizSpeak was trending on Twitter. Millions of people had also watched on Facebook as Warren read the letter outside the Senate chamber.

MoveOn members contributed $250,000 to Warren’s re-election campaign in about 12 hours.

Warren used Twitter to attack Sessions and McConnell.

“I will not be silent about a nominee for AG who has made derogatory & racist comments that have no place in our justice system,” she wrote.

Warren simply wouldn’t let up. So, Neil Cavuto over a FOX Business did her one better by having Mrs. King’s niece, Alveda on his program. And here’s what she said:

It’s almost like a bait and switch, stir up the emotions, in the name of King—and my name is Alveda King [and] play the race card, which she was attempting to do.

Dr. Alveda King

Up for re-election in 2018, and with her eyes clearly fixed on the 2020 presidential race, Warren obviously plans to milk this one for all its worth but she’ll have to do it without the help of the King family. Talk about an in-your-face diss.

Far left progressives like Warren have been whining, throwing tantrums and pounding their fists against the electoral gods since Donald Trump became President.  And they went down in defeat yet again this week when Jeff Sessions was confirmed the next US Attorney General by a 52-47 vote.

So buck up Fauxcahontas. It’s time to show us a little of that brave Native American spirit of yours.
