CNN Stages Pro-Muslim Anti-Isis Demonstration

The terrorist attack this weekend in London brought out the best in the city’s first responders and citizens as events unfolded on the iconic London Bridge and surrounding restaurants and pubs.  Bystanders and tourists became eyewitnesses to the carnage, aided in identifying the attackers, and were the first to attend to the dead and dying.  There were a million stories to tell in the aftermath; why, then, did CNN feel it necessary to fabricate a pro-Muslim news story?

Yes, CNN International made up a story, staged the streetscape to resemble a makeshift memorial, and hauled Muslims off the street – many wearing hajibs – handed them anti-ISIS hashtag signs and reported the event as ‘news.’  The resulting effect is a perfect ‘coexist’ propaganda tool.

Mark Antro, a London-based citizen journalist, recorded the hoax and blasted it across the Twitterverse, with a humorous, yet ominous, disclaimer, “I’m going to bed. To confirm, I am in no way accident prone, in good health, mentally stable, not suicidal & live in a low crime area.” If only murdered DNC leaker Seth Rich had left the same missive on social media for backup; there might have been a different epilogue to his tragic story.

CNN’s media mouthpiece, host of Reliable Sources, and now crisis communications king Brian Stelter, was quick to defend his employer (read: salary), diving into the swirling around the drain waters of Twitter:

Far-right twitterers are misleading folks about this video. Bloggers saying CNN was caught “staging fake news.”

Police allowed demonstrators thru cordon “so they could show their signs” to media, @CNNPR says. CNN, BBC, AP “simply filmed them doing so.”

Sure, blame the twitterers who saw with their own eyes – Becky Anderson, a seasoned reporter, waits patiently while a stage manager arranges flowers on the street, positioning Muslim mothers and children with hopeful signs of support while removing white law enforcement personnel and replacing them with Asian personnel.  Hmm. CNN will probably be nominated for a Tony Award for the best staging of a fake news story following a REAL news story.

Attempting to set the leftist narrative back on track, the obviously perturbed bosses at CNN issued this statement:

“This story is nonsense. The group of demonstrators that was at the police cordon was being allowed through by officers so they could show their signs to the gathered media. The CNN crew along with other media present simply filmed them doing so.”

No, that is not what happened.  And this video is damning evidence against the network who claims to be ‘the most trusted name in news.’  How is it possible to try and spin this into the status quo of how news gets reported?  Of course, with CNN, this IS how they manipulate the viewers into buying their brand Kool-aid.   So, my friends of the establishment media, this is your wake-up call, and be advised, there isn’t a snooze button option.  We are on to you, and rest assured, the truth seekers will uncover each, and every, news transgression you report.  As the old Sting song goes, “Every move you make, every vow you break, every smile you fake, every claim you stake, I’ll be watching you.”
