$500 is not enough for this device, you”d better pony up for some carbon offsets as well.
Greenpeace is on the warpath again, and not even liberal companies like Apple are safe. It seems that the green loons are concerned with the carbon footprint caused by the enormous data centers and networks required for such technology. Yes, this technology requires electricity (in some cases this entails burning – gasp – coal!)
Of course, Greenpeace has no problem has no problem using such technology to advance its own causes – and of course to raise money to “save the planet”.
Just a word of warning – Greenpeace is not an organization to be messed with. If you own an i-Pad (or any other evil device which consumes energy), you had comply with their demands. They know who you are. They know where you live. They know where you work. You are few, but they are many. Green is the new red, and these jackboots are wearing brownshirts. So many colors – it”s all about diversity!
Peace out.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 1:22-25
